Heck, make it four with Matt Harrison, who some aren’t convinced will ever pitch in the Majors again. Prince Fielder was coming off back surgery. Shin-Soo Choo looked like a player in decline late last season and didn’t exactly set the world on fire to start the season. Rougned Odor’s play prompted you to consider changing the pronunciation of his last name. Even the young players that started well, like Ryan Rua and Kyle Blanks, found their way to the disabled list. It looked like first–year manager Jeff Banister had inherited an absolute mess.
